Marta’s parenting class saved me when I felt overwhelmed by being a Mom, caretaker, and wife. I had a 3 yr old, 1 yr old, and a newborn and was struggling with how to show up for kids and be the parent that I had envisioned. Marta’s class gave me easy, practical tools that I began implementing immediately. She had guidance on sibling fighting, boundary setting, carving out time for self-care, and intention setting for our family. I noticed a shift in our family dynamic as well as my happiness. I felt supported within the community of other parents attending the course and I felt less alone in my parenting struggles. I would take Marta’s class again and again.

About the Workshop:

Want to experience more clarity and ease while parenting?

Being a parent to toddlers and preschool aged children requires a restructuring, even a reparenting, of ourselves. As we learn to attune to our children’s needs, we may discover we need to learn to (re)attune to ourselves and our values.

In Reflective Parenting for Intentional Parents you will have the space to learn, reflect, and integrate your own thoughts, feelings, and experiences about parenting. You will become more familiar with children’s development stages and temperaments, positive discipline parenting methods and tools, and what communication and boundaries look like for preschool-aged children. You will have the support of a trained specialist, as well as peers from your parenting community, while you explore the unique influences that inform (and sometimes hinder) your values.

We are bombarded by so many messages from media, society at large, role models, and our own perceptions and visions about how to be as parents. Information is abundant and easy to access, but we have little time to investigate what we feel and think. This workshop is a perfect opportunity to take a “time out” and pause parenting in your busy life, giving you space to find clarity in your parenting.

What You'll Learn:

Weekly sessions are 1.5hrs each.

The sessions are created to build on themselves over 8 weeks.
